Rare capability multiplies

Knowledge, skill, and the ability to build something the world views as valuable and rare distinguishes people significantly. A single person with all of these can provide far more value than another. One person can even be equivalent to many.

That is not a romance of genius. It is an observation about multiplication. Most systems underprice the combination of deep knowledge, practiced skill, and the will to ship something real. They overprice credentials, volume of activity, and fluency without product.

Regional prosperity tracks a similar fact. Why some places are rich is as much capability as economics. Does your region have the know-how the world wants and will pay well for? Without that layer, we keep rearranging demand while the scarce thing remains the ability to produce what others value at a high price.

Demand also rises for people who can architect and build complete systems while understanding business goals. Narrow task execution gets cheaper. End-to-end ownership does not.

Drawn from writing on X as devendrasm on rare capability, regional know-how, and full-system builders.
