Being debt free is a strategic position
Debt freedom is not only personal hygiene. It preserves optionality when cycles turn and liquidity leaves the room.
Being debt free is a position I take seriously. Frugality, simple living, and avoidance of waste are not only private virtues. They keep a person and a household free to act when conditions change. Lessons that worked in high-liquidity environments often stop working when money tightens; leverage that felt clever becomes a chain.
I do not moralise every loan. I care about whether the structure of obligations still leaves room for long work, honest risk, and calm when the cycle turns.
