Feeling pain is not the same as knowing about it
Character built by suffering differs from character built by training alone. Knowing about pain and living through it are different educations.
The character that is built by suffering will be different from the one built by training or education alone. Feeling pain and knowing about pain are not the same. Courses, books, and talks can name the hard parts of life. They do not substitute for the way a person reorganises after carrying real cost.
I do not romanticise suffering. I refuse to pretend that polished theory about difficulty produces the same person as difficulty itself. Training matters. It still sits on a different shelf from lived friction.
