When distribution gets easy, constraints move upstream
If AI massively simplifies distribution, scarcity does not vanish. It shifts to earlier stages of production, judgment, and supply.
The argument is that AI will massively improve or simplify distribution. If true, constraints move upstream. Ease at the last mile does not abolish scarcity. It relocates it to whoever still owns hard inputs, judgment, trust, manufacturing, energy, or the willingness to finish work when tools make starting cheap.
I watch for that shift rather than celebrating frictionless distribution alone. Someone still has to create what is being distributed, and hold standards when volume rises.
