Long-term path over funding and attention
Very few people can stay with long projects when funding, IPO stories, and media pull constantly. Patient company-building is still possible; examples matter more than another product launch.
Very few people have the inner side that lets them work on long-term projects. Very few can avoid the temptation of funding rounds, IPO narratives, and media attention. That scarcity is not a moral lecture; it is a fact about the environment builders now swim in.
When a company shows that it can be built and grown patiently, recruiting and training people over years without making capital and hype the centre of the story, the example can be worth more than any single product line. Products will keep coming. The demonstration that another path is possible helps many more people attempt work that would otherwise look irrational under the dominant script.
