Many parents need a path, not only a lecture on choice
Not every family can design a curriculum at home. Rural and small-town parents often need guidance when they know they do not have the answer.
Many parents rely on school. They are not always in a position to take the call alone. They need guidance and someone who can take them on a correct path. They may be busy with livelihood. People already secure in their answers see this differently from people who know they do not have an answer, or lack confidence.
How will parents in rural areas and small towns decide what their children should study if they are not that aware? Coaching, extra classes, and after-school activities already show parents taking calls outside school. That does not prove education is on the right track. Choice without orientation is still confusion with more invoices.
