Confirm shared objectives before coordinating hard

Before complex collaboration, check whether people are even aiming at the same outcome. Misaligned objectives waste every later process.

We need to first confirm whether everyone is on the same page in terms of the objectives they have in mind. A lot of friction that looks like process failure is actually objective failure. People can work hard in parallel and still cancel each other if the destination was never agreed.

Shared effort without shared ends is theatre of coordination. The first meeting that matters is often the one that names what success would even mean.
